Unique Strategies to Overcome Fears Causing Anxiety and Panic.


Hello Everyone! I am so happy to be writing you today. I truly look forward to this space with you. This week I got to experience firsthand a feeling that is quiet familiar yet it is not one I like to feel at all and that is anxiety/panic.


This space is not one we ever want to sit in for long. As time goes on it seems harder and harder to remember our normal happier days or just the days we were more use to.


Below I have listed tips that I use to get out of the anxiety/panic feelings as fast as possible.


Tip #1 - Become Conscious to the Feeling

Keep conscious of your feelings from an outer person perspective. This can be applied through the simple acknowledgment of the feelings.

Tip #2 - Question Where the Feelings Came From

Knowing where the feeling came from exactly can be difficult. You may or may not remember how this feeling started or was triggered. It most likely happened in the near past. Sometimes those who have Post Traumatic Stress Disorder will have a trigger moment where something reminds them of a traumatic experience in the past and it all comes rushing towards them without the ability of control. It is almost like being at the ocean and you ride in a wave you are all excited for yourself and you turn around to find a large wave comes out of nowhere and knocks you down and throws you around a bit. Which leads to our first resolution;

"The Ocean is much more powerful than we are. The easiest thing to do is Offer the Feelings No Resistance."


Tip #3 - Remind Yourself that it Will Pass

All feelings pass, all illness pass, all uncomfortable situations pass, even good feelings pass. When you are in these times know it will pass. This is also known as offering anxiety and panic with no resistance.

Tip #4 - Resolutions

Before I look for what it was that triggered these feelings I look for the support I generally have in place because I follow the Course in Miracle Healing exercise that says to create a list entitled, Get out of Anxiety Quick Fixes.

Anxiety usually is worse at night. No one else is awake to help and stimulation for our minds to focus elsewhere is difficult to come by. My first quick fix is to reach out to my spiritual mentors for inspiration. This is likely an inspirational pastor that I enjoy watching, a book that brings me hope from an author that I resonate with, quotes or reminders that I have written down in my journal or notebook, or watching a wholesome television show or a comedy.


These wonderful works will begin to help bring your mind back to center. You may like to create a page in your notebook dedicated to a list of things that will help you get out of this space using the examples I have listed.


Tip #5 - Make sure you drink enough water, eat, and take your medications properly, or that you do not skip medication.

Medications for anxiety or antidepressants can really work to eliminate fears, triggers or fear loops. Sometimes after a lot of difficult life stressors our physical bodies have a tough go of it. Speaking of physical bodies, Medical doctors are here on earth for a reason. They help to find cures and heal the human body. It is important to seek medical treatment no matter what anyone says. A simple blood panel alone can tell a doctor a lot. For example, after my first child I felt very ill mentally I was really scared to share it with anyone because I felt they would take the baby away from me. At one of my follow up medical visits I shared these feelings with my doctor and it turned out my thyroid levels were out of the park. The thyroid, hormones, and normal physical body wear and tear will require us to at times go on medications. Do not fight them, realize that you are not a superhero. The more we run from medical treatment the more wear we can put on our bodies. If you are on medications, especially antidepressants, if you go off or skip a dose this can cause anxiety and panic. Another situation that can cause feelings of anxiety and panic is lack of water or hydration. A lack of water causes dehydration which can cause the body's stress indicators to go off which can feel like shaking or panic. Moreover, if you do not eat enough the lack of nutrients in your body can cause feelings of anxiety or shakiness. On the contrary, too much caffeine can cause shakiness and feelings of panic or a racing heart. These are easy ones to check into and eliminate from physical possible causes.

Closing Statement

After I applied all of the above tips one of the most important exercises that I did to get out of this space is to acknowledge what has been going on in my life recently. What issues may have caused me to become fearful, overwhelmed, and ultimately panicked. I sat down with my journal and I wrote out prayers asking for help with them. If nothing comes to mind, you can always just ask in prayer on paper to get help with the anxiety. After you release these feelings into the hands of God and the angels little-by-little you can consciously follow the breadcrumb trail to the resolutions. Trust me this one always works and it helps to get your feelings out. Also crying and getting angry are two good ways to release the energetic feelings from your body.


Once you have applied all of these tips then you can look for what might have triggered the anxiety/panic. It will take effort to come back to alignment, mind, body, and soul. To feel our best we have to realign all of these "bodies" so this short guide can serve as a quick reference when you are feeling these terrible feelings.
